I’ve been a video producer for most of my adult life, producing content that informs, inspires and entertains for media organizations, nonprofits, museums and now a wide range of clients in Jacksonville, Florida and Washington, D.C. While I enjoyed my time in front of the camera as a reporter and bureau chief, I prefer being the one directing the crew, doing the interviews, and figuring out the most compelling way to tell the story.
Producing a film is like creating a painting. You start out with a idea of what you want to do and then keep layering and blending all of the elements—interviews, footage, natural sound, graphics and music—together as you’re editing to create something that is both inspiring and memorable.
